Andreja Pucihar is the assistant professor of the Business Information Systems, Business Process Reengineering, e-Commerce, and MIS course at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor and Informatics for managers at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. She is married and has one son and one daughter.
 

She completed her PhD at the University of Maribor in September 2002 with the dissertation titled: “Entering e-Marketplace Success Factors«.
 

She is a head of eMarkets Laboratory. She also serves as a National Contact point of the eMarketServices - European Commission sponsored project.
 

She cooperates with centers involved in eCommerce research at various universities. Since 1995, she has been involved in eCommerce Center and its several research and e-commerce activities, as for example annual international Bled eConference, where she has been serving as a Conference Chair Assistant. She participates in the Slovenia's eCommerce Project involving 20 business and government organizations. She cooperates in several projects with industry.
 

Her current research includes: e-marketplaces, business-to-business e-commerce, e-commerce, supply chain management, business process reengineering, e-government and new e-commerce business models.
 

Her research work reflects in her publications in several journals and conference proceedings.
